Vaccine VaxigripTetra® placed on the reimbursement list

Quadrivalent influenza vaccine (split virion), inactivated – VaxigripTetra® has been placed on the list of reimbursed drugs (Project can be seen here) (beside for the Protective Vaccination Program in Poland, where it has so far been recommended as a non-refundable national level http: // szczepienia.pzh.gov.pl/kalendarzi-szczepien/, http://szczepienia.pzh.gov.pl/en/immunization-schedule/).

It will only be reimbursed for people over 65 in preventing influenza caused by two subtypes of influenza A virus and two types of influenza B virus that are included in the vaccine. VaxigripTetra® will be available to patients with 50% payment and will be available at the price of 22.88 PLN for 1 packege, on the same level as the NFZ.
